MagiX A few seats with unique financial conditions, are still available for the next edition of AI4Gov_EU - Artificial Intelligence for Public Services Specializing Master by Politecnico di Milano and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, starting in October 2026. This award-winning and multidisciplinary Executive Programme provides participants with the skills to design, implement, and manage AI in Public Administration with a human-centric approach, aiming to train the next generation of AI Functional Specialists. The Use of AI to Inform Policy Course. The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Academy is still receiving applications for its course on "AI to inform Policy" until September 2, 2026. This introductory-level  course delivered in English will be taught from September 7-18, 2026. 


AI Talk: The public sector has an AI strategy. Does it have the skills? FARI, CEPS and VUCABLE are hosting an evening event on September 3, 2026 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Brussels Time. The event will mark the local launch of MagiX, the Specialising Master in AI, Governance Innovation and Digital Transformation.  The event welcomes Public sector professionals, policymakers, GovTech practitioners, researchers and students. Venue FARI Test & Experience Centre Cantersteen 16 Brussels, Belgium.


Symposium: Building public sector AI capacity.  On Monday 7 September 2026, TU Delft hosts the European AI4Gov-X Symposium: Building Public-Sector AI Capacity in The Hague. In this event Public-sector professionals, AI4Gov-X partners and academics from different European countries will come together to discuss what governments need to critically and responsibly shape the use of AI and other emerging technologies. The event is scheduled from 14:00 to 17:00 hours. TU Delft Campus The Hague, Spui 5. Attendance can be in person, with online participation option.

Conference on Trustworthy AI for Human Rights, Democracy and Rule of Law. The Conference Organised by the Council of Europe and the Albert Einstein School of Public Policy at ETH Zurich will take place Monday 7 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 17:00 CEST. The event will bring together representatives from academia, public administration, policy, civil society, and industry to discuss the Framework Convention and its implementation in Switzerland.


UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (GFEAI 2026) will take place from 14 to 17 September 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Forum is co-hosted by UNESCO and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) and the International Centre for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), and will have as its main theme "Transforming Global Cooperation for Ethical AI Governance".  194 States have been invited to this Policy & governance forum. United Nations Digital Cooperation Day 2026. On Monday, 21 September, 2026, in Parallel to the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, The United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET) is holding the Digital Cooperation Day, with the theme Shaping A Global AI Future Through Science, Policy and Capacity.  which will bring together government representatives, private sector, civil society, academia, and industry leaders to take stock of progress on implementation.

The event will showcase country-led deliverables, highlighting how digital cooperation is being translated into action on the ground. Centered on AI from the ground up, the event will explore the building blocks of national digital transformation. Discussions will focus on practical country experiences, lessons learned, and opportunities to accelerate impact through collaboration and partnership.

The in-person event will be held from 9:00 am to 16:30 ET in Ease, 605 3rd Avenue, New York City, USA.
